Wild for Donuts - Mojo Launches "W" Donut to Carry Wild Through Playoffs

We're excited to cheer on the Minnesota Wild as they return to the playoffs for the fourth straight season.

Last year, we got caught up in hockey hysteria and created the"Dubnut" donut in honor of white hot goaltender Devan Dubnyk.  This delicious creation had a scoop of cookie dough blocking the 5-hole. It was brilliant and we think helped lead the team into the second round. (We're biased)

It's been a team effort this year so we will not be highlighting any one player. Rather we will have the Classic Raised Glazed "W" with team colored frosting.  This "W" is for Wild, for Win and for What are we gonna do when we win the cup!

"I know baking, but I'm learning hockey and I'm really excited to once again pair them up to celebrate the Wild playoff run and give Wild fans a delicious donut." said Lisa Clark, Owner of Mojo Monkey Donuts.

The "W" donuts will be available on Thursday when the Wild open their first round series against the Dallas Stars and will be available daily until they are eliminated or, better yet, win the Stanley Cup. (Note:  we are closed Mondays)

Big Boom Bang and Whip-tang!

Explosion of flavor arrives June 10 in the form of our Red, White and Lemon Blueberry Bismarck. This special donut will be available everyday through July 6.

You guessed it--just in time for July 4! Ingredients include fresh blueberries and lemon. The bismarck is topped with red, white and blue striped pattern.

Help us celebrate!

Enjoy our Fresh Fruit Bismarck (only available through June 8). This slightly tart sweetie is filled with honey yogurt cream and orange zest then topped with cream cheese icing and fresh fruit.

No matter what your favorite donut is, or where you find your (daily) donut. Be sure to raise an orb of joy on June 6!

Free Donuts...Because It's Cold!

We're fed up with this cold! We believe hot coffee and donuts are always the answer, but here's a silver lining to brighten even your chilliest day:

Introducing the Arctic Special!

Take note when the "high" temperature, as recorded by the National Weather Service, dips below zero in St. Paul. Because the next day, when you purchase a dozen Mojo Monkey donuts, we'll tack on one free donut per sub-zero degree!

That means if the high in St. Paul on a Tuesday is -3°F, when you pick up your dozen donuts on Wednesday, we'll throw in an additional three donuts!

Hey, we've got to make something good out of this polar vortex!

Mojo Monkey is open late New Year's Eve so you can add a little sugar buzz to your celebration!

We've got some really special donuts for you to try:

Mimosa Bismarck with strawberry Italian buttercream -- we're calling this the 21 and over donut.

For the kids (and chocolate lovers out there)

A chocolate cake donut rolled in Oreos then topped in a chocolate mousse. Ha! For the kids.

We'll also have a Coconut curried bismarck and a "Kid"mosa donut hole with chai. Samples free until we run out. Kidmosas are made with gingerale and orange juice.

National Donut Day

This Friday is National Donut Day, but we just don't think one day is enough to celebrate the art of donuts.

So Mojo Monkey has something special in store.

Gobble Gobble! Thanksgiving Hours and Specials

Mojo Monkey will be closed on Thanksgiving and the day after (November 22 and November 23) so our staff can spend time with their families. In order to keep you full of donuts for those two days, we will be open until 6:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving eve (Wednesday, November 21). We also have a few special treats for you.

• Try our very special Donut Strata! It has red pepper, broccoli, gruyere, potatoes, raisins, almonds, maple syrup and sausage (there’s a vegetarian option too). It is fully cooked and ready to reheat and serve—perfect for Thanksgiving morning. A full pan feeds 6 to 10 and is $22. Interested? This is a pre-order only item, so call us. 651.224.0142

• The day before Thanksgiving we’ll have Cranberry Bismarck with a Squash Cream Cheese Icing that is topped with roasted fig, filberts and fresh cranberries. We’ll also have a Brandy Vanilla Pastry Cream Bismarck with a Dark Chocolate Buttercream Icing (this one is for the 21+ crowd!).

Big News: Turning One!

Mojo Monkey Turns One!

Mark your calendar: Mojo Monkey is about to turn one, and we want to celebrate with YOU! The party lasts from Monday, October 1 to Sunday, October 7. We will be giving away FREE small coffees with purchase. Also, three times per day in the shop, we will randomly give away one dozen donuts to three different people! It is random—so the winner could be any one at any time. It’s sure to be a great time, so pop in.

Yelp Sugar Rush Event

Mojo Monkey was honored to take part in the Yelp Sugar Rush Event in August at Honeyshine in Bryn Mawr. Event attendees were the Yelp Elite, who are highly connected influencers. Mojo Monkey gave samples of Pumpkin Chai and Apple Dumpling donut holes, which were a big hit. Thanks, Yelp, for the great event!

Patriotic Pastries Available Through July 4th

At Mojo Monkey Donuts, we push ourselves to create outstanding and innovative flavor combinations for  our donuts and pastries. In the spirit of summer and Independence Day, we've created two new specials that are bound to make you and your taste buds happy!

The first special is our Red, White and Blue(berry) Donut; it is a blueberry bismarck with red and white honey vanilla icing. The second is our Monkey Sundae Donut, a chocolate milk cherry cake donut with cream cheese frosting, chocolate ganache drizzle and a cherry on top. Luckily, you don't have to worry about it melting, unlike a real ice cream sundae!
